Jean st clair

Jean St Clair is an accomplished English actor and the first deaf British actress to perform in the West End with her lead role in Children of a Lesser God. Her versatile career includes work as a screenwriter, director, producer, and British Sign Language consultant. Jean's exceptional acting has earned her two Best Actress awards at the French deaf film festival Clin d'Oeil. She's also contributed as a BSL consultant to major productions like Disney's The Little Mermaid and Encanto, and BBC's Doctor Who and EastEnders. Her achievements include winning Best Actress for the short film Still Here and directing the award-winning black comedy Signs of an Affair, which also garnered her another Best Actress win at Clin d'Oeil in 2017.
